Computer loses printer driver when I enter standby or restart?
Q. My computer keeps losing the printer driver, or something, whenever I enter standby mode or restart the computer. The printer is a HP officejet 5510 all-in-one. I haven't bothered to download the driver for the scanner or fax machine, b/c I don't use them. I reload the driver once my computer loses it, and then inevitably my computer enters standby or I shut it down, and I have to reload the driver. What is the problem?

A. If you can t find the right Printer drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it.
